I first got involved in politics by taking an interest in the area where I live, and in discussing ideas when I was a student. I would really like to hear from you if you are interested in getting more involved, or if you would just like to find out more.

Join the Conservatives today

There are two ways to join the Conservatives: as a Member or as a Friend. Both are great ways to show your support, so choose the one that’s right for you.

Join as a Member

Members play an active role in the Party, and receive important voting rights in Party elections. As a Member, you’ll be able to:

  • Decide who represents the Party in local, general and European elections
  • Vote in elections for the Party Leader and in your local Association’s AGM
  • Attend Party Conferences
  • In addition, you’ll receive:

  • Access to our Affinity Programmewhich provides great discounts on a wide range of products
  • A membership card and welcome booklet
  • Regular email updates
  • Becoming a Member costs £25 a year – or £5 a year if you’re under 23 years old.

    Join as a friend

    Click the headline above to join as a friend. If you’re keen to show your support but don’t want to be a full Member, becoming a Friend is the perfect way to join. As a Friend, you’ll be able to attend Party Conferences, and will receive:

  • Access to our Affinity Programme which provides great discounts on a wide range of products
  • A membership card and welcome booklet
  • Regular email updates
  • To become a Friend, all you need to do is make a donation of any amount (from a minimum of £1).
